Ultimate Gaming Tournament Yields Close to $9,000

Paragon 2015 took place in L.A. hosting over 1400 players across three super smash bros. games, Project M, Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Melee. The event lasted from September 5th to the 6th. Paragon Los Angeles 2015 was held at the Ontario Convention Center in California.

Prize pools are the amount of earnings that players made in that specific game. For Project M, the prize pool was $8,880 for the 1v1 tournament. Project M also had a 2v2 tournament and the prize pool for this tournament was $3,480. The prize pool for Super Smash Bros. Wii U was $6,490 for the 1v1 tournament. As for Super Smash Bros Melee, the prize pool was $6,820.

The winner of the 1v1 tournament for Project M was a 14 year old male that goes by the name of Mr Lz. People say that he is the best Mr. Game and Watch player, taking away $3,620.

In the 2v2 tournament for Project M the top 6 teams split the prize money due to time constraints, but the top 2 teams each won $1,131 which were Mew2King and Ally, and Oracle and Hungrybox.

The winner of the 1v1 tournament for Super Smash Bros. Wii U was Nairo, one of the best Super Smash Bros. Wii U players in the world; Nairo won $2,876.

The winner of the 1v1 tournament for Super Smash Bros. Melee was none other than Mango, one of the most famous Super Smash Bros. Melee players in the world; he won $2,988.

With Mango’s great performance, let's see if he can win the tournament at HTC throw down, or will one of his rivals come out on top, or will EE VS | Mr Lz stay the best Mr. Game and Watch or will someone up and coming take him off his high horse?
