GyroSphere Impressions
GyroSphere, a new game available for Apple and Android users, has been gaining popularity since its release in December of 2015. Involving physics and fast reaction times, GyroSphere challenges players’ abilities to make quick decisions in a short amount of time.
In this game, the players play as a sphere rolling through obstacles in order to complete an obstacle course in under a minute. There are a total of nine arenas and six levels per arena, which gives players a total of 54 levels to play.

For all levels, players use “Spheres” as lives whenever they fall off the map. Players can also use “free cards” as an alternative, which allow them to play a level without consuming Spheres. 25 Spheres can be earned daily, so players should be careful when they enter a run.
The goal in GyroSphere is to finish an obstacle course by guiding the sphere through several obstacles. In addition, the faster the players completes a level, the more “points” they get. Obstacles include walls, ramps, stationary balls, and more. These points can be used to earn new arenas.
However, some players struggle with the obstacles that are provided.
“The fact that there is floor that disappears is dumb. I don’t have enough time to cross it with the time given,” junior Kevin Santos said.
GyroSphere is still new to the App Store and Google Play. With the popularity it has been gaining, it can one day reach the top 10 most played games on both platforms.
