Embrace the darkness
Dark Souls 3 has finally unleashed its well known brutality on the gaming community. From Software’s latest installment promises a return to its roots, taking inspiration from the original Dark Souls.
The Souls series is well known in the gaming community, and Dark Souls 3 had to meet the expectations of new players and veterans alike.
Upon its release, Dark Souls 3 received stellar reviews, scoring a 9.5/10 from IGN, 4.5/5 on Metacritic and 94% on PC Gamer.

The game has also done well on commercial terms. Currently, it has only been released in Japan and has sold nearly 90% of its first shipment, according to an article by Attack of the Fanboy. That is more than 210,000 units in total.
“As a long time fan of the Souls series, I’m looking forward to jumping back in the fire,” junior Razmik Degoian said.
It seems that Dark Souls 3 has been a commercial and critical success thus far, and promises to only improve after its North American release on April 12th.
